Introduction. The objetive of this report is to describe and evaluate my six weeks' experience at the "Institute of mental healt". About the Institute of mental healt: is a important public institute in US, in Northampton, Massachusets. Was created in 1997 and all the years help more people. Clearly education in chile works like a business. First, very few quality schools are free. Also, many of those schools continue to select students. Education in Chile is segregated by social class. The poor with the poor and the rich with the rich. Obviously, it’s easier to go to a private school, with better quality, for a person with money. So people with more money are more likely to go to college. The educational system in Chile must urgently change.

Being an immigrant in Chile is very difficult and terrible. The government has made it increasingly difficult for immigrants to live in our country. The procedures to live legally in Chile are long and complicated. Having a job is very difficult, and immigrants generally have the hardest jobs. Most immigrants live in poverty and many live crowded. Also, in Chile immigrants are highly discriminated against, both by the people and by the government. Today Chile does not seem to be a good place to emigrate.

Sol Bohme is a student of psychology in the Universidad de Chile. She was born in Santiago de Chile and she is 24 years old. In the college, she has worked with a lot of social organisations and comunities to help with something or investigate about some topic. She has good skills to organize people and create projects with them, facilitating tools from social psychology. In that country she worked with an immigrant aid foundation, she was able to help Spanish speakers with little English skills. Hi everybody! Today I’m going to talk about things that would change my career. I study psychology and I’m in fourth year. First, I’m going to talk about the curriculum of my carrier, because I think the curriculum should change.   I only have one semester to finish my subjects, but I think I’m not ready to work with patients, because I haven’t had almost any practical subject. Most of my subjects have been theoretical. Also, I think that electives (15 subjects in total) should be more, because many times they fill up and some people can’t take them. Hello! In my last blog I´m going to talk about my experience making blogs.   The blogs are very entertainers, because I can write about the topics that like. My favorite topic was about my family, because I love so much my family, and I like being able to tell things about theirs. Hi! Today I´m going to write about my favorite place to go on vacations. The half of my family are Argentine, because my mom is Argentine, so I love travel to Buenos Aires to see my family. Buenos Aires is a city very beautiful and entertaining. There are many thing to do, because is very big. When I go to Buenos Aires I walk so much for the city and I visit the “microcentro”, because I like old Architecture. Many buildings are old. My family live in Bellavista. Bellavista is 40 minutes away from the capital. Is a town very short. They are bigger houses than Buenos Aires, that is my family live there. When I go to Argentine, I eat many typical food. Today I´m going to talk about Ignacio Martín Baró. He was a very important psychology, and he was the first social psychology in Latin America. He was boring on Spain, but he lived the most part of your life on El Salvador. He defends Latin American people because he believed in the differences between the first word and the countries of Latin America. He was the main reference of social psychology of liberation and very people admired him, because he faith about the human right, for social justice and for equality on Latin America. Very people prefer other authors because Ignacio Martín Baró was born on Spain, but he was the first in fight about the emancipation on El Salvador. He mattered very much the persons of the word and he hated so much the discrimination. In my classes we readied a lot him and I liked so much. Hello! Today I’m going to talk about my family. First, I’m going to talk of my mom, because I live with her. She is a person very friendly and sweet. She likes talk with her sisters and brother, but they live in Argentine. She talks with them on cell phone. Before was very difficult the communication with them, because my mom didn´t know use the cell phone, but now she learned to use it. My brother lives in Unites State, because he is making a doctorate on the University of Massachusetts. We talk with his on face time, because we like to see it. Hello! Today I write about my career and other options in which I thought. When I´m a child I wanted to be an actress, but when I grew up I liked the psychology. When I made the PSU I wanted study psychology or Economy, but I don´t like so much the mathematics because they are very difficult. For this reason I decided study psychology. As well, I like so much learn about people’s mind. Until now, my experience in the university has been very good. I have known a lot of people amazing and I like my teachers, because they enjoy teaching (I think). I like the community psychology and clinical psychology. First, I would like to tell you that I was born grew up in Santiago. I studied at, Colegio Madrigal, Colegio Etievan and College La Girouette, I was in many schools! I have the best memories of those school days, because I loved play with my friends and I loved talk with my friends. After finishing high school I took the PSU and I entered Universidad de Chile to study Bachillerato, and after I studied Psychology in the same university. Since the first year I loved psychology, because I liked very much understand about people’s head. As well, I always liked it to think about the therapy with other persons.
